Bangladesh: New Believer Hospitalised

Jashim became a believer last year. Now, his family is trying to get him to renounce his faith in Jesus.

Last week, Jashim’s extended family attacked him in broad daylight, beating and stabbing him because of his faith and involvement in Christian outreach.

Jashim said, “I have received Jesus Christ in my life as my personal Saviour and the Lord. I have the right to choose and practise my faith. You cannot force me to do what you want me to do. I will not renounce and will not forsake my faith in Jesus Christ.”

Luckily, Jashim escaped, and his pastor drove him to hospital where he received stitches and is still recovering.

Will you take a moment to pray?

Pray For Jashim:

    • Pray for Jashim’s continuing physical and mental recovery.
    • Pray that this situation will draw his family closer to the Lord.
    • Pray for Jashim’s wife and children, who are in hiding following the attack.
