STATE OF DESPERATION: MYANMAR’S SURVIVORS
Open Doors’ local partners took immediate action after Myanmar’s earthquakes hit. Daisy Htun* a local partner shares: “The people right now, believers and non-believers alike, are in a state of hopelessness, thinking of their own survival. They have already experienced the coup, there is economic hardship, and now, a natural disaster has befallen them.”

Please Help Them Today
Believers in Myanmar have been decimated by natural disaster.
THOUSANDS HAVE NOTHING LEFT
“I felt the tremors and rushed out with my children in panic. In a few minutes, we saw our house crumbling down.”
Daw Sun* a widow in Myanmar managed to escape being trapped or injured by the earthquake. Thankfully, her two children were unharmed, too.
Now, they sleep on the streets with thousands who have also watched their homes, businesses, hospitals, and churches turn to rubble.
“There is no electricity, and the water supply is not functioning,” says a local believer. “It’s becoming a challenge to even go to the toilet.”
Recent events haven’t alleviated the brutality of the ongoing coup. The military continues to kill and displace its people.
Christians like Daw Sun desperately need emergency assistance. Will you give urgent help today?
