frequently asked questions
Who is Open Doors?
Since 1955, Open Doors has been helping people follow Jesus all over the world, no matter the cost. We do this by providing discipleship, emergency relief and community development to persecuted Christians in over 70 countries.
Where do my donations go?
If you give a general donation to the ministry of Open Doors, your gift will provide discipleship, emergency relief and community development to where it is most needed, worldwide. Open Doors works in over 70 countries and tailor our support to the specific needs of the local church.
If you choose to give to a specific appeal or campaign, your donation could help smuggle Bibles into dangerous countries, provide shelter for those fleeing from persecution, or rebuild homes and churches after war.
You can find out more about how your donations are used in our annual Impact Report.
